Here are the latest updates to our website as of March 15, 2022. Big thanks to our volunteer software developers and testers for this last month of work.

New features

Confirmation/error messaging during event submission

When you’re creating, editing, and submitting an event, you’ll now see a green message across the top of the screen confirming that your changes have been saved.

A green message at the top of the page confirming that the program has been successfully saved as a draft.

If there’s an error while you’re submitting an event, a red message will appear at the top of the screen, or on a missing field, to let you know what happened and how to correct the issue, when possible.

A red error message on the venue creation form indicates what went wrong and how to fix it.

Fixes

  • Add performance date/time/venue details to “delete” warning modal so you know which performance you’re deleting
  • Eliminate the need for a separate worker for Huey to save on Heroku dyno costs
  • Event submission breaks for a staff user who does not have editor/owner view/modify permissions
  • “Invalid Status Change” error message appears when admin publishes a draft

Please let us know if you have any questions or feature requests, or if you notice anything quirky on the site!

Cheers from Seattle,

Shaya Lyon
LMP founder & software product manager
